Why covalent?

Pronounced «CO-VAY-LENT»

Years ago, my original training as a bio-scientist opened my eyes to the natural beauty of team working. I remember being intrigued learning about how tough materials like wood and crystals form when their atoms join by sharing electrons – a phenomenon known as covalent bonding. The results are super strong molecules with unbreakable bonds.

Chemistry matters!

Reciprocal bonding enables many essential elements to exist – from the oxygen we breathe in the air to the vast repositories of replenishing water we drink for basic survival.

The powerful dynamics which underpin the microcosms in our natural world inspires my collaborative approach to project relationships; I actively seek to harness my energy to work in partnership with others and take joy in achieving great things together. Get in touch to explore how we can join forces!

Tough, lightweight materials, such as 3d printed graphene aerogels, are extremely flexible and resilient – thanks to covalent bonding.
